Mixero Bitcoin Mixer: privacy for every BTC transfer

Every bitcoin payment is written to a public ledger that anyone can read. Mixero separates the coins you send from the coins you receive, so your wallet history stays your own business.

01 · WHY IT MATTERS

Your transaction history is publicly available and how can a Mixero help you hide your BTC

Bitcoin is often called anonymous, but it is closer to pseudonymous. Addresses do not carry names, yet every transfer between them is stored forever and can be viewed by anyone with a block explorer. Once a single address is tied to you, for example through an exchange withdrawal or an online purchase, the rest of your activity can often be followed from there.

That is the problem a BTC mixer solves. Instead of your coins moving directly from address A to address B, they enter a pool, and different coins of the same value leave it. The visible chain between sender and receiver is broken, which restores the kind of everyday financial privacy people expect from a bank card or cash.

What sets the Mixero mixer apart

A good bitcoin mixing service is judged by details: what it asks for, what it keeps and how much control you get. These are the ones we focused on.

Split outputs

Send the result to one address or spread it across several, each with its own share. Different amounts arriving at different times look like ordinary, unrelated payments.

No account

No email, phone or password. An order needs only a destination address.

Custom time delay

Choose when funds are released. A random delay makes timing analysis far less useful.

Short data retention

Order details are removed once the mix is complete. There is no long-term history to request or leak.

BTC and ETH

Mix bitcoin or Ethereum, each within its own network, with the full order summary shown before you pay.

03 · THE PROCESS

Bitcoin mixing in four short steps

  1. Set up the order — enter one or more receiving addresses, pick a delay and a fee level.
  2. Send your deposit to the one-time address generated for this order.
  3. Mixero routes the funds through its reserve and splits them across several transactions.
  4. Receive your coins at the chosen addresses after the delay you set.

The whole process works in Tor Browser and takes only a couple of minutes of your time. The details of each step are on the How Mixero works page.

04 · Quick answers

Before you start

What is Mixero?

Mixero is a bitcoin mixer: a service that receives your coins, routes them through a separate pool of funds and sends the equivalent amount, minus a fee, to the addresses you choose. The result is that the incoming and outgoing payments are not openly connected on the blockchain.

Do I need an account?

No. Mixero does not ask for an email, a phone number or a password. An order is created with nothing more than a destination address and your delay and fee settings.

How long does a mix take?

Most orders complete within a few hours. The exact time depends on the delay you pick, the number of output addresses and how quickly the bitcoin network confirms your deposit.

Fees and limits are covered on the Mixero fees page, and the background on how coin mixing compares with CoinJoin is in our bitcoin privacy guide.
